The Dawn of Islam
On the 27th of Rajab, the Angel Jibraeel (Gabriel) descended in the Cave of Hira with the first verses of Surah Al-Alaq, commanding Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): 'Read! In the name of your Lord who created.' This marked the 'Mab'ath', the official commencement of his mission to guide humanity out of darkness and into the light of monotheism and justice. The Support of Khadija and Ali
Upon returning home, the Prophet was immediately supported by his devoted wife, Lady Khadija (s.a.), and his young cousin, Imam Ali (a.s.). They were the first woman and man to accept Islam, standing by the Prophet through the most difficult years of persecution in Mecca.
Aamal for 27th Rajab
Mab'ath is one of the most highly celebrated festivals in Islam. It is highly recommended to perform a ghusl, fast (which is one of the four most highly rewarded fasts of the year), recite Ziyarat of the Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Ali (a.s.), and perform the specific 12-Rakat prayer detailed in Mafatih al-Jinan.

২৭ রজব, ফেরেশতা জিব্রাইল (আ.) হেরা গুহায় সূরা আল-আলাকের প্রথম আয়াত নিয়ে অবতরণ করেন এবং নবী মুহাম্মদ (সা.)-কে নির্দেশ দেন: 'পড়ুন! আপনার রবের নামে যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন।' এটি 'মাবআস' বা নবুওয়াতের আনুষ্ঠানিক সূচনা চিহ্নিত করে, যা মানবজাতিকে অন্ধকার থেকে বের করে একত্ববাদ এবং ন্যায়বিচারের আলোতে পথ দেখানোর মিশন। (সূত্র: সিরাতে রাসূলুল্লাহ)
খাদিজা ও আলীর সমর্থন
বাড়ি ফেরার পর, নবীকে সাথে সাথে তাঁর নিবেদিত স্ত্রী বিবি খাদিজা (সা.) এবং তাঁর তরুণ চাচাতো ভাই ইমাম আলী (আ.) সমর্থন করেন। তাঁরাই ছিলেন ইসলাম গ্রহণকারী প্রথম নারী এবং পুরুষ, যাঁরা মক্কায় নিপীড়নের সবচেয়ে কঠিন বছরগুলোতে নবীর পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন।
২৭ রজবের আমল
মাবআস ইসলামের অন্যতম বৃহৎ উৎসব। গোসল করা, রোজা রাখা (যা বছরের চারটি সর্বাধিক সওয়াবপূর্ণ রোজার একটি), নবী (সা.) এবং ইমাম আলী (আ.)-এর জিয়ারত পাঠ করা এবং মাফাতিহুল জিনানে বর্ণিত বিশেষ ১২ রাকাত নামাজ আদায় করা অত্যন্ত সুপারিশকৃত।
