The Master of Martyrs
Imam Hussain (a.s.) was born on the 3rd of Sha'ban in the 4th year of Hijrah. When he was born, the Prophet (PBUH) wept, foretelling his martyrdom in Karbala. Yet, his birth was a time of immense joy for the Ahl al-Bayt. The angel Fitrus, whose wings had been broken, regained them by rubbing them against the cradle of the newborn Imam.
His Divine Role
Imam Hussain (a.s.) is known as 'Sayyid al-Shuhada' (Master of the Martyrs). The Prophet (PBUH) declared, 'Hussain is from me, and I am from Hussain.' He embodied ultimate resistance against oppression. His sacrifice in Karbala remains the eternal heartbeat of Islam, ensuring the survival of the Prophet's religion.
Aamal for 3rd Sha'ban
It is highly recommended to fast on the 3rd of Sha'ban. Believers also recite the Ziyarat of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and the specific supplication for this day taught by Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s.), which begins with sending blessings upon the newborn Imam.
শহীদদের নেতা
৪ হিজরির ৩ শাবান ইমাম হুসাইন (আ.) জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। যখন তিনি জন্মগ্রহণ করেন, তখন নবী (সা.) কেঁদেছিলেন এবং কারবালায় তাঁর শাহাদতের ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী করেছিলেন। তবুও, তাঁর জন্ম আহলে বাইতের জন্য অত্যন্ত আনন্দের সময় ছিল। ফিতরুস নামক এক ফেরেশতা, যার ডানা ভেঙে গিয়েছিল, নবজাতক ইমামের দোলনায় ডানা ঘষে তা ফিরে পেয়েছিলেন।
তাঁর ঐশী ভূমিকা
ইমাম হুসাইন (আ.) 'সায়্যিদুশ শুহাদা' (শহীদদের নেতা) হিসেবে পরিচিত। নবী (সা.) ঘোষণা করেছিলেন, 'হুসাইন আমার থেকে, আর আমি হুসাইন থেকে।' তিনি ছিলেন নিপীড়নের বিরুদ্ধে চূড়ান্ত প্রতিরোধের মূর্ত প্রতীক। কারবালায় তাঁর আত্মত্যাগ ইসলামের চিরন্তন স্পন্দন হয়ে আছে, যা নবীর ধর্মকে রক্ষা করেছে।
৩ শাবানের আমল
৩ শাবান রোজা রাখা অত্যন্ত সুপারিশকৃত। মুমিনরা ইমাম হুসাইনের (আ.) জিয়ারত এবং ইমাম মাহদী (আ.) কর্তৃক শেখানো এই দিনের বিশেষ দোয়া পাঠ করেন, যা নবজাতক ইমামের ওপর দরুদ পাঠানোর মাধ্যমে শুরু হয়।
