Habib ibn Muzahir's Effort
On the 6th of Muharram, Habib ibn Muzahir (r.a.), a close companion of Imam Ali (a.s.) and Imam Hussain (a.s.), asked for the Imam's permission to seek help from his tribe, Banu Asad, who lived nearby. With the Imam's blessing, Habib went to them under the cover of darkness.
The Ambush
A group of 90 men from Banu Asad agreed to assist the Imam. However, a spy informed Umar ibn Sa'd, who immediately sent a detachment of 400 horsemen to intercept them. A fierce clash occurred, and the unarmed men of Banu Asad were forced to disperse. Habib returned to the Imam, conveying the tragic news. (Source: Maqtal al-Husayn)
Significance
This event underscores the isolation of Imam Hussain's camp and the terror instilled by the Umayyad regime. It highlights Habib ibn Muzahir's dedication, who until his last breath on the Day of Ashura, remained a staunch defender of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.).
হাবিব ইবনে মুজাহিরের প্রচেষ্টা

এই ঘটনাটি ইমাম হুসাইনের শিবিরের বিচ্ছিন্নতা এবং উমাইয়াদের দ্বারা সৃষ্ট আতঙ্কের কথা তুলে ধরে। এটি হাবিব ইবনে মুজাহিরের আত্মত্যাগকে মহিমান্বিত করে, যিনি আশুরার দিনে তাঁর শেষ নিঃশ্বাস পর্যন্ত আহলে বাইত (আ.)-এর একজন কট্টর রক্ষক ছিলেন।
