The Challenge of Truth
The event of Mubahala is a landmark in Islamic history, occurring on the 24th of Dhul Hijjah 10 AH. The Christians of Najran disputed with the Prophet (PBUH) regarding the divinity of Prophet Isa (Jesus). Following divine instruction (Quran 3:61), the Prophet challenged them to a 'Mubahala' (mutual invoking of a curse on the liars).
The Purest Household
Instead of bringing a large crowd, the Prophet (PBUH) brought only the purest souls: himself, Imam Ali (a.s.) as his 'self', Lady Fatima (s.a.) as his 'women', and Imam Hassan and Hussain (a.s.) as his 'sons'. Seeing the illuminated faces of the Ahl al-Bayt, the Christian bishop recognized their truthfulness and backed down from the challenge, agreeing to pay the Jizyah. (Source: Tafsir al-Kashshaf)
Aamal for Eid al-Mubahala
This day highlights the unparalleled status of the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.). It is highly recommended to perform Ghusl, fast, recite the Ziyarat of Imam Ali (a.s.), and recite the specific Dua of Mubahala, celebrating the clear victory of truth and the supreme virtue of the Prophet's household.
সত্যের চ্যালেঞ্জ
মুবাহিলার ঘটনাটি ইসলামী ইতিহাসের এক যুগান্তকারী ঘটনা, যা ১০ হিজরির ২৪ জিলহজ ঘটেছিল। নাজরানের খ্রিস্টানরা নবী ঈসার (যীশু) দেবত্ব নিয়ে নবী (সা.)-এর সাথে বিবাদে লিপ্ত হয়। ঐশী নির্দেশনার (কুরআন ৩:৬১) পর, নবী তাদের একটি 'মুবাহিলা' (মিথ্যাবাদীদের ওপর পারস্পরিক অভিশাপ আহ্বান)-এর চ্যালেঞ্জ জানান।
সবচেয়ে পবিত্র পরিবার
বিশাল জনতা নিয়ে আসার পরিবর্তে, নবী (সা.) কেবল সবচেয়ে পবিত্র আত্মাদের নিয়ে এসেছিলেন: নিজে, তাঁর 'সত্তা' হিসেবে ইমাম আলি (আ.), তাঁর 'নারী' হিসেবে বিবি ফাতিমা (সা.) এবং তাঁর 'পুত্র' হিসেবে ইমাম হাসান ও হুসাইন (আ.)। আহলে বাইতের আলোকিত মুখমণ্ডল দেখে খ্রিস্টান বিশপ তাদের সত্যবাদিতা স্বীকার করে চ্যালেঞ্জ থেকে পিছিয়ে আসেন এবং জিজিয়া দিতে সম্মত হন। (সূত্র: তাফসিরে আল-কাশশাফ)
ঈদ-ই-মুবাহিলার আমল
এই দিনটি আহলে বাইতের (আ.) অতুলনীয় মর্যাদাকে তুলে ধরে। গোসল করা, রোজা রাখা, ইমাম আলি (আ.)-এর জিয়ারত পাঠ করা এবং মুবাহিলার বিশেষ দোয়া পাঠ করার অত্যন্ত সুপারিশ করা হয়, যা সত্যের স্পষ্ট বিজয় এবং নবীর পরিবারের সর্বোচ্চ গুণাবলী উদযাপন করে।
