Early Life and Background
Saif ibn Harith al-Jabiri (r.a.) belonged to the Banu Jabir family, a prominent branch of the Hamdan tribe in Kufa. He and his cousin, Malik ibn Abd Allah al-Jabiri, were deeply devoted to the Ahl al-Bayt. Upon hearing of Imam Husayn's journey, they left Kufa together and managed to join the Imam's camp in Karbala before the battle began, bringing with them supplies and unwavering loyalty. Role in Karbala and Martyrdom
On the Day of Ashura, when the battle intensified and many companions had already fallen, Saif and Malik approached Imam Husayn (a.s.) in tears. When the Imam asked them why they wept, they replied that their grief was not for themselves, but because they saw the Imam surrounded by enemies and could not fully protect him. Deeply moved, Imam Husayn prayed for them, promising them a high rank in Paradise. কারবালায় ভূমিকা এবং শাহাদাত
আশুরার দিন, যখন যুদ্ধ তীব্র আকার ধারণ করে এবং অনেক সঙ্গী ইতোমধ্যে শহীদ হয়েছেন, তখন সাইফ এবং মালিক কেঁদে কেঁদে ইমাম হুসাইন (আ.)-এর কাছে আসেন। ইমাম যখন তাঁদের কান্নার কারণ জিজ্ঞেস করেন, তখন তাঁরা উত্তর দেন যে তাঁদের দুঃখ নিজেদের জন্য নয়, বরং তাঁরা ইমামকে শত্রুদের দ্বারা পরিবেষ্টিত দেখে কাঁদছেন। গভীরভাবে আবেগাপ্লুত হয়ে ইমাম হুসাইন তাঁদের জন্য দোয়া করেন এবং জান্নাতে উচ্চ মর্যাদার প্রতিশ্রুতি দেন। এরপর তাঁরা একসাথে যুদ্ধক্ষেত্রে প্রবেশ করেন এবং একে অপরকে রক্ষা করে লড়াই করতে করতে উভয়েই শাহাদাত বরণ করেন। (সূত্র: WikiShia)
