Lineage and Background
Qasim ibn Sa'd was among the loyal companions who stood by Imam Husayn (a.s.) during the epic Battle of Karbala. Residing in Kufa, he was known for his piety and deep devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt. When the oppressive forces of Yazid began to gather, Qasim chose the path of truth over worldly safety.
Role at Karbala
On the day of Ashura, Qasim ibn Sa'd was among the steadfast defenders of Imam Husayn (a.s.). He faced the Umayyad army with immense courage during the first assault, fighting valiantly to protect the Imam and his household. His unwavering faith and ultimate sacrifice earned him a place among the immortal martyrs of Karbala.

বংশপরিচয় ও পটভূমি

আশুরার দিন কাসিম ইবনে সাদ ইমাম হুসাইন (আঃ)-এর দৃঢ় রক্ষাকারীদের মধ্যে ছিলেন। তিনি প্রথম আক্রমণের সময় অসীম সাহসের সাথে উমাইয়া বাহিনীর মুখোমুখি হন এবং ইমাম ও তাঁর পরিবারকে রক্ষা করার জন্য বীরত্বের সাথে যুদ্ধ করেন। তাঁর অবিচল বিশ্বাস এবং চূড়ান্ত আত্মত্যাগ তাঁকে কারবালার অমর শহীদদের মধ্যে স্থান করে দিয়েছে।
