Early Life and Background
Malik ibn Abd Allah al-Jabiri (r.a.) was the cousin of Saif ibn Harith al-Jabiri, both hailing from the Banu Jabir branch of the Hamdan tribe in Kufa. Known for their piety and loyalty to Imam Ali (a.s.) and his descendants, Malik and Saif successfully made their way out of the heavily guarded Kufa to answer Imam Husayn's call for support at Karbala. Role in Karbala and Martyrdom
As the events of Ashura unfolded, Malik and his cousin witnessed the brutal martyrdom of their fellow companions. Overwhelmed with sorrow for Imam Husayn (a.s.), who stood besieged by thousands, they approached him weeping. The Imam comforted them and blessed their profound loyalty. Malik and Saif bid farewell to the Imam and stepped onto the battlefield.
