Background and Devotion
Majma' ibn Abd Allah al-A'idhi was a highly respected Tabi'i and a loyal companion of Imam Ali (a), having previously fought alongside him in the Battle of Siffin. He belonged to the Madhlij tribe. His deep-rooted loyalty to the Ahl al-Bayt (a) led him to leave Kufa with his son, 'A'idh, to join Imam Husayn (a) on his way to Karbala. According to resources available on Al-Islam.org, Majma' provided crucial intelligence to Imam Husayn (a) regarding the hostile situation in Kufa, explaining that while the hearts of the people were with him, their swords were drawn against him.
Role at Karbala
Despite his advanced age and the grim reality of the situation, Majma' stood firm in his resolve. He and his son were integral parts of the Imam's camp. On Ashura, Majma' joined forces with Amr ibn Khalid, Jabir, and Sa'd.
Martyrdom
The group launched a fierce, unified attack during the early stages of the battle. Surrounded by the vast Kufan army, they fought with unmatched valor. After being briefly rescued by Al-Abbas (a), the severely wounded group of companions made their final charge and were martyred together. His son, 'A'idh, also achieved martyrdom on that fateful day. Majma' is explicitly honored in the sacred Ziyarah of the Martyrs.

কারবালায় ভূমিকা
তার বৃদ্ধ বয়স এবং পরিস্থিতির ভয়াবহতা সত্ত্বেও, মাজমা' তার সংকল্পে অটল ছিলেন। তিনি এবং তার ছেলে ইমামের শিবিরের অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ ছিলেন। আশুরার দিন, মাজমা' আমর ইবনে খালিদ, জাবির এবং সা'দের সাথে একত্রিত হন।
শাহাদাত
এই দলটি যুদ্ধের প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে একটি তীব্র, ঐক্যবদ্ধ আক্রমণ চালায়। বিশাল কুফান সেনাবাহিনীর দ্বারা বেষ্টিত হয়ে, তারা অতুলনীয় সাহসিকতার সাথে লড়াই করে। আল-আব্বাস (আ.) কর্তৃক সাময়িকভাবে উদ্ধার হওয়ার পর, গুরুতর আহত সঙ্গীদের এই দলটি তাদের চূড়ান্ত আক্রমণ চালায় এবং একত্রে শহীদ হয়। তার পুত্র আয়েযও সেই ভাগ্যনির্ধারিত দিনে শাহাদাত বরণ করেন। পবিত্র যিয়ারতে শুহাদায় মাজমা'কে বিশেষভাবে সম্মান জানানো হয়েছে।
