Early Life and Devotion
Ammar ibn Abi Salama al-Dalani (r.a.) was a distinguished and loyal Shi'a and a staunch companion of Imam Ali (a). He stood by the Commander of the Faithful during the critical battles of Jamal, Siffin, and Nahrawan, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the Ahl al-Bayt (a).
Role in Kufa
Following the martyrdom of Imam Ali (a), Ammar maintained his allegiance to Imam al-Husayn (a). As tensions rose in Kufa prior to the tragedy of Karbala, Ammar took a bold stance. Recognizing the tyranny of Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, he attempted to assassinate the tyrant at the Nukhayla camp. Though the attempt was unsuccessful, it underscored his immense courage and dedication to the cause of truth.
Martyrdom at Karbala
Undeterred by the circumstances in Kufa, Ammar journeyed to join Imam al-Husayn's (a) camp in Karbala. On the fateful Day of Ashura, he stood bravely against the massive Umayyad army. He attained martyrdom during the very first overwhelming attack by the enemy forces, fighting valiantly for justice. His noble sacrifice is eternally commemorated, and his name is honored in the Ziyarat al-Shuhada.

প্রাথমিক জীবন এবং ভক্তি
আম্মার ইবনে আবি সালামা আল-দালানি (রাঃ) ছিলেন একজন বিশিষ্ট এবং একনিষ্ঠ শিয়া এবং ইমাম আলী (আঃ) এর একজন দৃঢ় সাহাবী। তিনি জামাল, সিফফিন এবং নাহরাওয়ানের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ যুদ্ধে আমিরুল মুমিনিনের পাশে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন, যা আহলে বাইত (আঃ) এর প্রতি তার অটল প্রতিশ্রুতি প্রমাণ করে।
কুফায় ভূমিকা
ইমাম আলী (আঃ) এর শাহাদাতের পর, আম্মার ইমাম আল-হুসাইন (আঃ) এর প্রতি তার আনুগত্য বজায় রাখেন। কারবালার বিয়োগান্তক ঘটনার পূর্বে কুফায় উত্তেজনা বৃদ্ধির সাথে সাথে, আম্মার একটি সাহসী অবস্থান গ্রহণ করেন। উবাইদুল্লাহ ইবনে জিয়াদের স্বৈরাচারী রূপ বুঝতে পেরে, তিনি নুখাইলা শিবিরে এই অত্যাচারী শাসককে হত্যার চেষ্টা করেছিলেন। যদিও প্রচেষ্টাটি সফল হয়নি, তবুও এটি সত্যের পথে তার অসীম সাহস এবং উত্সর্গকে তুলে ধরে।
কারবালায় শাহাদাত
কুফার পরিস্থিতিতে নিরুৎসাহিত না হয়ে, আম্মার কারবালায় ইমাম আল-হুসাইন (আঃ) এর শিবিরে যোগ দেওয়ার জন্য যাত্রা করেন। আশুরার সেই ভাগ্যনির্ধারণী দিনে, তিনি বিশাল উমাইয়া বাহিনীর বিরুদ্ধে সাহসের সাথে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন। শত্রু বাহিনীর প্রথম ভয়াবহ আক্রমণেই তিনি ন্যায়বিচারের জন্য বীরত্বের সাথে লড়াই করে শাহাদাত বরণ করেন। তার এই মহৎ আত্মত্যাগ চিরকাল স্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবে এবং 'জিয়ারতে শুহাদা' তে তার নাম সসম্মানে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে।
