Early Life and Devotion
Al-Hajjaj ibn Badr was from the Banu Sa'd tribe in Basra. He was a sincere devotee of the Ahl al-Bayt. When Imam Husayn (a.s.) sought the support of the prominent figures in Basra, it was Mas'ud ibn Amr who wrote back pledging support, and Al-Hajjaj was entrusted with delivering this vital message to the Imam.
Role at Karbala
Al-Hajjaj delivered the letter to Imam Husayn (a.s.) and decided to remain with him. He accompanied the Imam's caravan to Karbala. On the Day of Ashura, he stepped into the battlefield with immense courage. According to accounts from the companions' histories, Al-Hajjaj fought fiercely against the Umayyad forces and was martyred in combat, sacrificing his life for the preservation of true Islam.
প্রাথমিক জীবন এবং ভক্তি
আল-হাজ্জাজ ইবনে বদর বসরার বনু সাদ গোত্রের ছিলেন। তিনি আহলে বাইতের একজন একনিষ্ঠ ভক্ত ছিলেন। ইমাম হোসাইন (আঃ) যখন বসরার বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের সমর্থন চেয়েছিলেন, তখন মাসুদ ইবনে আমর সমর্থন জানিয়ে একটি চিঠি লিখেছিলেন এবং আল-হাজ্জাজকে এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বার্তাটি ইমামের কাছে পৌঁছে দেওয়ার দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছিল।
কারবালায় ভূমিকা
আল-হাজ্জাজ ইমাম হোসাইন (আঃ) এর কাছে চিঠি পৌঁছে দিয়েছিলেন এবং তাঁর সাথে থাকার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিলেন। তিনি ইমামের কাফেলার সাথে কারবালায় গিয়েছিলেন। আশুরার দিন, তিনি অপরিসীম সাহসের সাথে যুদ্ধক্ষেত্রে অবতীর্ণ হন। সাহাবীদের ইতিহাস থেকে জানা যায় যে, আল-হাজ্জাজ উমাইয়া বাহিনীর বিরুদ্ধে তীব্রভাবে যুদ্ধ করেছিলেন এবং সত্য ইসলাম রক্ষার জন্য নিজের জীবন উৎসর্গ করে যুদ্ধে শহীদ হয়েছিলেন।
