Zahir ibn Amr al-Kindi (r.a.) is recognized in historical Shi'a sources as one of the noble companions of Imam Husayn (a.s.) who attained martyrdom at the Battle of Karbala. Some records associate him closely with the legacy of Amr ibn al-Humuq al-Khuza'i, emphasizing his deep-rooted loyalty to the family of the Prophet.
During the tragedy of Ashura, Zahir exhibited exceptional bravery. He refused to abandon the Imam of his time despite the overwhelming odds and fought valiantly until he was martyred. His name is venerated among those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the preservation of Islam.
জহির ইবনে আমর আল-কিন্দী (রাঃ) ঐতিহাসিক শিয়া সূত্রগুলোতে ইমাম হুসাইন (আঃ)-এর একজন মহৎ সঙ্গী হিসেবে স্বীকৃত, যিনি কারবালার যুদ্ধে শাহাদাত লাভ করেছিলেন। কিছু রেকর্ডে তাকে আমর ইবনে আল-হুমুক আল-খুজাইয়ের উত্তরাধিকারের সাথে ঘনিষ্ঠভাবে যুক্ত করা হয়েছে, যা নবীর পরিবারের প্রতি তার গভীর আনুগত্যের ওপর জোর দেয়।
আশুরার মর্মান্তিক ঘটনা চলাকালীন, জহির অসাধারণ সাহসিকতা প্রদর্শন করেছিলেন। তিনি চরম প্রতিকূলতার মুখেও তার সময়ের ইমামকে পরিত্যাগ করতে অস্বীকার করেন এবং শহীদ হওয়ার আগ পর্যন্ত বীরত্বের সাথে যুদ্ধ করেন। ইসলাম রক্ষার জন্য যারা চূড়ান্ত আত্মত্যাগ করেছিলেন তাদের মধ্যে তার নাম শ্রদ্ধার সাথে স্মরণ করা হয়।
