Habib ibn Abd Allah (r.a.) is recorded in historical Shi'a archives as one of the devoted companions who answered the call of Imam Husayn (a.s.). While detailed accounts of his early life remain sparse in the primary texts, his presence in the ranks of the Imam’s army highlights his profound loyalty and spiritual standing.
On the fateful day of Ashura, Habib ibn Abd Allah stood firm against the formidable Umayyad army. He fought courageously to defend the grandson of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and was eventually martyred. His ultimate sacrifice is remembered by the faithful as a testament to his unwavering commitment to the truth and justice upheld by the Ahl al-Bayt.
হাবিব ইবনে আব্দুল্লাহ (রাঃ) ঐতিহাসিক শিয়া নথিপত্রে ইমাম হুসাইন (আঃ)-এর ডাকে সাড়া দেওয়া একনিষ্ঠ সঙ্গীদের একজন হিসেবে লিপিবদ্ধ রয়েছেন। যদিও প্রাথমিক গ্রন্থগুলোতে তার প্রাথমিক জীবনের বিস্তারিত বিবরণ বিরল, ইমামের সেনাবাহিনীর সারিতে তার উপস্থিতি তার গভীর আনুগত্য এবং আধ্যাত্মিক মর্যাদাকে তুলে ধরে।
আশুরার সেই ভাগ্য নির্ধারণী দিনে, হাবিব ইবনে আব্দুল্লাহ শক্তিশালী উমাইয়া বাহিনীর বিরুদ্ধে অবিচল দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন। তিনি নবী (সাঃ)-এর নাতিকে রক্ষা করার জন্য সাহসিকতার সাথে যুদ্ধ করেন এবং অবশেষে শাহাদাত বরণ করেন। তার এই চূড়ান্ত আত্মত্যাগ আহলে বাইত কর্তৃক সমুন্নত সত্য ও ন্যায়ের প্রতি তার অটুট প্রতিশ্রুতির প্রমাণ হিসেবে বিশ্বস্তদের দ্বারা স্মরণ করা হয়।
