The Miracle of Young Leadership

Imam Muhammad al-Taqi al-Jawad (a.s.) was born on the 10th of Rajab 195 AH in Medina. He is known as 'Al-Jawad' (The Generous). He became the Imam at the tender age of 8, mirroring the prophethood of Prophet Yahya and Prophet Isa, who were also granted divine authority in their childhood. (Source: Al-Irshad)

His Brilliant Debates

Despite his young age, the Abbasid caliph Ma'mun constantly tested the Imam's knowledge by organizing debates with the grand judge Yahya ibn Aktham. The young Imam astounded everyone by answering complex jurisprudential questions flawlessly, proving that the knowledge of the Ahl al-Bayt is divinely bestowed (Ilm al-Ladunni).

Aamal for 10th Rajab

The birth of Imam al-Jawad brought immense joy to Imam al-Ridha (a.s.), who had waited many years for a son. It is recommended to fast on this day, recite his Ziyarat, and ask Allah for one's worldly and spiritual needs, as he is renowned for his boundless generosity.
