61: Humbling Oneself (2) (Addenda)
The Imam admits his weakness and need before Allah's majesty and asks for His mercy and forgiveness.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
বিসমিল্লাহির রাহমানির রাহীম
পরম করুণাময়, অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে।
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The supplication of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (a.s.) in humbling himself before Allah:
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَأَنَا الْعَبْدُ
আনতাল মাওলা ওয়া আনাল আবদ
আপনি মাওলা, আর আমি দাস।
Antal mawla wa anal 'abd
You are the Master, and I am the servant.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْعَبْدَ إِلَّا الْمَوْلَىٰ
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুল আবদা ইল্লাল মাওলা
দাসকে মাওলা ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamul 'abda illal mawla
Who will have mercy on the servant but the Master?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ وَأَنَا الذَّلِيلُ
আনতাল আযীয ওয়া আনায যালীল
আপনি পরাক্রমশালী, আর আমি লাঞ্ছিত।
Antal 'aziz wa anadh dhalil
You are the Mighty, and I am the lowly.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الذَّلِيلَ إِلَّا الْعَزِيزُ
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুয যালীলা ইল্লাল আযীয
লাঞ্ছিতকে পরাক্রমশালী ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamudh dhalila illal 'aziz
Who will have mercy on the lowly but the Mighty?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْخَالِقُ وَأَنَا الْمَخْلُوقُ
আনতাল খালিক ওয়া আনাল মাখলূক
আপনি স্রষ্টা, আর আমি সৃষ্টি।
Antal khaliq wa anal makhluq
You are the Creator, and I am the created.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَخْلُوقَ إِلَّا الْخَالِقُ
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুল মাখলূকা ইল্লাল খালিক
সৃষ্টিকে স্রষ্টা ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamul makhluqa illal khaliq
Who will have mercy on the created but the Creator?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْمُعْطِي وَأَنَا السَّائِلُ
আনতাল মু'তী ওয়া আনাস সাইল
আপনি দাতা, আর আমি প্রার্থী।
Antal mu'ti wa anas sa'il
You are the Giver, and I am the asker.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ السَّائِلَ إِلَّا الْمُعْطِي
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুস সাইলা ইল্লাল মু'তী
প্রার্থীকে দাতা ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamus sa'ila illal mu'ti
Who will have mercy on the asker but the Giver?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْمُغِيثُ وَأَنَا الْمُسْتَغِيثُ
আনতাল মুগীস ওয়া আনাল মুসতাগীস
আপনি সাহায্যকারী, আর আমি সাহায্যপ্রার্থী।
Antal mughith wa anal mustaghith
You are the Helper, and I am the one crying for help.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمُسْتَغِيثَ إِلَّا الْمُغِيثُ
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুল মুসতাগীসা ইল্লাল মুগীস
সাহায্যপ্রার্থীকে সাহায্যকারী ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamul mustaghitha illal mughith
Who will have mercy on the one crying for help but the Helper?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْبَاقِي وَأَنَا الْفَانِي
আনতাল বাকী ওয়া আনাল ফানী
আপনি চিরস্থায়ী, আর আমি নশ্বর।
Antal baqi wa anal fani
You are the Everlasting, and I am the perishing.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْفَانِيَ إِلَّا الْبَاقِي
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুল ফানিয়া ইল্লাল বাকী
নশ্বরকে চিরস্থায়ী ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamul faniya illal baqi
Who will have mercy on the perishing but the Everlasting?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الدَّائِمُ وَأَنَا الزَّائِلُ
আনতাদ দাইম ওয়া আনায যাইল
আপনি চিরন্তন, আর আমি বিলীয়মান।
Antad da'im wa anaz za'il
You are the Lasting, and I am the passing.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الزَّائِلَ إِلَّا الدَّائِمُ
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুয যাইলা ইল্লাদ দাইম
বিলীয়মানকে চিরন্তন ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamuz za'ila illad da'im
Who will have mercy on the passing but the Lasting?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ وَأَنَا الْمَيِّتُ
আনতাল হাইয় ওয়া আনাল মাইয়িত
আপনি চিরঞ্জীব, আর আমি মরণশীল।
Antal hayy wa anal mayyit
You are the Living, and I am the dying.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَيِّتَ إِلَّا الْحَيُّ
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুল মাইয়িতা ইল্লাল হাইয়
মরণশীলকে চিরঞ্জীব ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamul mayyita illal hayy
Who will have mercy on the dying but the Living?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْقَوِيُّ وَأَنَا الضَّعِيفُ
আনতাল কাওয়িয়্য ওয়া আনাদ দাঈফ
আপনি শক্তিমান, আর আমি দুর্বল।
Antal qawiyy wa anad da'if
You are the Strong, and I am the weak.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الضَّعِيفَ إِلَّا الْقَوِيُّ
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুদ দাঈফা ইল্লাল কাওয়িয়্য
দুর্বলকে শক্তিমান ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamud da'ifa illal qawiyy
Who will have mercy on the weak but the Strong?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْغَنِيُّ وَأَنَا الْفَقِيرُ
আনতাল গানিয়্য ওয়া আনাল ফাকীর
আপনি অমুখাপেক্ষী, আর আমি মুখাপেক্ষী।
Antal ghaniyy wa anal faqir
You are the Rich, and I am the poor.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْفَقِيرَ إِلَّا الْغَنِيُّ
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুল ফাকীরা ইল্লাল গানিয়্য
মুখাপেক্ষীকে অমুখাপেক্ষী ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamul faqira illal ghaniyy
Who will have mercy on the poor but the Rich?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْكَبِيرُ وَأَنَا الصَّغِيرُ
আনতাল কাবীর ওয়া আনাস সাগীর
আপনি মহান, আর আমি ক্ষুদ্র।
Antal kabir wa anas saghir
You are the Great, and I am the small.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الصَّغِيرَ إِلَّا الْكَبِيرُ
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুস সাগীরা ইল্লাল কাবীর
ক্ষুদ্রকে মহান ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamus saghira illal kabir
Who will have mercy on the small but the Great?
مَوْلَايَ مَوْلَايَ
মাওলায়া মাওলায়
হে আমার মাওলা, হে আমার মাওলা!
Mawlaya mawlay
My Master, my Master!
أَنْتَ الْمَالِكُ وَأَنَا الْمَمْلُوكُ
আনতাল মালিক ওয়া আনাল মামলূক
আপনি মালিক, আর আমি অধীন।
Antal malik wa anal mamluk
You are the Owner, and I am the owned.
وَهَلْ يَرْحَمُ الْمَمْلُوكَ إِلَّا الْمَالِكُ
ওয়া হাল ইয়ারহামুল মামলূকা ইল্লাল মালিক
অধীনকে মালিক ছাড়া আর কে দয়া করবে?
Wa hal yarhamul mamluka illal malik
Who will have mercy on the owned but the Owner?
